A healthy smile is ageless

Studies show that active seniors are the ones who have kept their teeth and their smiles. Our office is sensitive to the special needs and problems of seniors. We are experienced in providing the very best care.

Comfort and Accessibility
  • Our one-story building has parking beside the front door.
  • Bright lighting, wide hallways, and large rooms make getting around in our office easier even for wheel chairs and walkers.
  • Seniors who are unable to sit for long periods may require shorter, more frequent appointments. We are happy to accommodate.
  • Every effort will be made to minimize waiting time.
General Health Assessment
  • Health problems may cause or contribute to dental problems. A clear understanding of patient health issues will allow for the safest, most effective treatment.
  • A complete review of current medications will avoid reactions and/or interactions that may be a concern.
Special Needs
  • Older patients have dental problems specific to their age group.
  • Dry mouth and receding gums cause susceptibility to cavities on the root surfaces of teeth.
  • Patient education and awareness of good eating habits and proper home care can minimize dental problems.
Restorative Dentistry
  • Missing teeth lead to further dental problems. Unsupported adjacent teeth experience unnecessary wear and periodontal problems.
  • Dentures, partial or complete, require maintenance.
  • Fixed bridgework requires special cleaning techniques to make it last.
  • Implants (artificial root implants) allow bone to grow in and around the supporting material. Implants help stabilize and retain dentures. They are also used in fixed bridgework.
Cosmetic Dentistry
  • Teeth darken with age and can make you feel older than you are. Whitening is a simple and safe procedure to help anyone love his or her smile.
  • A "Brite Smile" whitening treatment using a special light activated gel will enliven any face.
  • Recontouring can remove the rough and chipped edges of teeth that occur over time.
